Design Solutions

Overview

Let our team guide you through the process of equipment selection. We’ll create high-quality prototypes with controls for pneumatics and electrical drives, testing them for durability and efficacy.

IMS can help you answer these important questions for your equipment selection:

  • What type of foil should you use?
  • Does the cap require a skirt, or is it flat?
  • Is a pull tab required for the cap?
  • How many containers per minute do you need to run?
  • Induction versus conduction?
  • Rotary or inline sealing?
  • How many different size foil caps will be used?
  • Do the caps need to be sanitized?
  • Is the foil plain or printed?
  • Is the print random or a pattern?
  • Are there different container heights?

Inline Integration Experience

We’ve had the pleasure of working on a variety of design integrations including assembly, feeding, micro dose filling and sealing of small parts. We also have worked with containers as large as 5 gallon buckets. We have overseen the integration of vibratory bowls, conveyors, filling equipment and other peripheral equipment for small and large-scale production.
